Business Accounting & Taxation (BAT)
Practical accounting, GST and TDS training using industry-standard software, built for candidates targeting accounts-executive and tax-associate roles.
The 10-week hybrid program is 120 contact hours across three modules. Core Accounting (15 days, 45 hours) is bookkeeping from first principles — recording transactions, ledgers, and preparing financial statements you can read and explain. Taxation (15 days, 45 hours) covers GST return filing and TDS and advance tax, with walkthroughs of actual return filing rather than theory alone. Tools (10 days, 30 hours) puts the same work into Tally Prime and Excel for finance, with Tally and Zoho Books practice files, plus payroll and compliance basics.
The aim is that on day one in an accounts role you can maintain books, file a GST return, and produce the month-end numbers a small or mid-sized business needs — the tasks employers actually test for in an accounts-executive interview.

Who This Program Is For
Best suited to B.Com or M.Com graduates (or equivalent) who have the theory but not the hands-on software and filing experience employers ask for, and to commerce candidates who want an accounts or tax role outside a CA firm. Basic computer literacy is enough to start. The hybrid format — online sessions with in-person labs — suits candidates who are working or studying and cannot attend a full-time classroom program.
How Placement Support Works
Placement support is built into the program: a resume rewritten for accounts and tax roles, mock interviews that include the practical tests (a trial balance, a GST computation) interviewers actually set, and a placement drive at the end of the batch.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is enrolment open right now?
Not at the moment — this program is between batches. Join the waitlist from this page and we'll contact you when the next batch dates are fixed.
Do I need a commerce degree?
A B.Com, M.Com or equivalent is preferred because the program builds on accounting fundamentals rather than teaching them from zero. Graduates from other streams with a genuine interest in accounts can enquire — a counsellor will tell you honestly whether the pace will work for you.
Which software will I learn?
Tally Prime for accounting and GST, Excel for finance work, and practice files for Tally and Zoho Books. GST return filing is taught as walkthroughs of the actual process.
What is the fee?
The fee for this program is shared on enquiry — book a free call from this page and a counsellor will walk you through it.
Do I get a certificate?
Yes — a Certificate of Completion from AKROS Solution, with a certificate ID that employers can verify online.
